RefWorks Classic: Science Direct

A quick introduction to using RefWorks including importing from various databases.


You can get into Science Direct by clicking the link at the top of the page when you are in the Scopus database.

  1. Check the box at the left of the article you want to export the citation for.

  2. Scroll up and click the Export Citations link.

  3. The default is Citations only, select Citations + Abstracts if this is what you want instead.

  4. Change the Export Format to RefWorks Direct Export.

  5. Click Export.

  6. You will be prompted to log into RefWorks where the records will be in the Last imported folder. Refile them into another folder.
