GW SMHS Continuing Education for Health Professions
DynaMed offers both CME and CNE credits for internet Point of Care (PoC) activities. These activities are online, self-directed, and consist of 3 steps that demonstrate reflection on clinical practice.
ClinicalKey offers CME credits for eligible searches conducted through their database. In order to access this feature, you must create a free personal account first.
AccessMedicine offers CME credits for searches conduct through their site. Conduct your search and complete an evaluation form describing how you applied the results from that search.
ClinicalKey for Nursing
ClinicalKey for Nursing offers CNE credits. In order to access this feature, you must create a free personal account first.
Journals and Journal Publishers
Himmelfarb users receive 10 free CME activities from JAMA every year. In order to receive the activities, you must access the link above from on-campus or while logged in to the VPN, and create a free account. The activities will then be credited to your account.
The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) offers CE credits for various activities related to COVID-19 and patient education. While there are some activities with an associated cost, many are offered free of charge.
