BIO: Tom began working at the Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library in 2010. In his current position as the Associate Director for Reference, Instruction, and Access, he plans and coordinates much of the library's public-facing activities. Over the years, he has provided reference support including helping with student and faculty-run literature review projects, such as systematic reviews. Additionally, he has been involved in teaching library and information skills to a wide range of students across the three schools that the library supports (the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, the School of Nursing, and the Milken Institute School of Public Health). In addition to his library science degree, Tom holds a certificate from the GW Graduate School of Education and Human Development's Master Teacher Leadership Development Program.
