All current students, faculty and staff at GW can get a free subscription to Microsoft Office Professional Plus 365. The subscription includes access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Access to LinkedIn Learning is available to the GW community at no cost. You can access dozens of regularly updated online courses in design, leadership, multimedia tools and techniques, and common software applications. Just log in to LinkedIn Learning with your GW UserID.
Webex is a collaborative meeting tool available to all GW students, faculty and staff that allows for real-time meeting and sharing computer content over the web. Features include multi-point video conferencing and desktop share to help facilitate online meetings or teach a class.
RefWorks is an online research management, writing, and collaboration tool. It is designed to help researchers easily gather, manage, store and share all types of information, as well as generate citations and bibliographies.
All GW students, faculty, and staff have free access to Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) on their university-owned or personal device. Adobe CC includes 20 desktop and mobile applications for design, photography, video and web, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Premier Pro.
The Instructional Technology Lab (ITL) distributes the Statistical Analysis System software (SAS) to GW faculty members, students, and staff for academic and research purposes. You must request a copy of SAS via the online license agreement form. Note that SAS can only be installed on a Windows OS.
GW IT offers access to GW Box and GW Google Drive to all students, faculty, and staff for backup, storage, and document management.
Zoom accounts are available to all GW community members. University-licensed Zoom accounts provide enhanced features, including: high-definition video, audio and wireless screen-sharing; meeting capacity of 300 web/audio/video attendees; and ability to record and store recordings.
