The Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library maintains a reserve collection to ensure the availability of highly utilized materials, supplementary readings, and/or requested items for courses in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) and the Milken Institute School of Public Health and Health Services (GWSPH).

Information for Faculty

Electronic Reserves
Request articles to be added directly into your Blackboard course by library staff.
Print Reserves
Place print items (books from the library collection or personal copies) on reserve in Himmelfarb Library.
A/V Reserves
Place physical copies of audiovisual materials on reserve in Himmelfarb Library.
Streaming Reserves
Request streaming media to be added directly into your Blackboard course by library staff.

Find Items on Reserve

Items on reserve can be found in Health Information @ Himmelfarb by searching for the author or title and then using the filters on the left-hand side to limit location to "Reserves" or "AV Reserves (1st Floor)", depending on the type of item. (These filters will only display as options if there are items on reserve matching your search.) The search box above automatically applies these limits.
