* Daily fines will no longer accrue on circulating books, DVDs, and audio CDs. At 41 days past the due date, however, the patron will be assessed overdue, item replacement, and processing fees totaling $120.

Returns & Fines

Returning Items

  • Print and AV Reserve materials must be returned directly to the Library Circulation Desk  to avoid late fees.
  • Do not return Himmelfarb Library materials to Gelman Library, Burns Law Library, or any consortium libraries; fines will continue to accrue unless materials are returned directly to Himmelfarb Library.

Fines

  • Daily fines will no longer accrue on circulating books, DVDs, and audio CDs. At 41 days past the due date, however, the patron will be assessed overdue, item replacement, and processing fees totaling $120.
  • Replacement fees will be waived if the material is returned.
  • Fines may be paid at the Circulation Desk on the first floor of the library. You may pay fines and fees with a credit or debit card (Visa or MasterCard), check, or money order.
  • All fines accrued on books borrowed through the Consortium Loan Service must be paid directly to the lending library.
  • All borrowers, including faculty, are subject to overdue fines.
