Lexidrug New Features
If you haven’t used Lexidrug in a while, you might not be aware of some great new features that will improve your experience. You can find these features online or through Lexidrug’s convenient mobile app!
First, the enhanced search functionality delivers results in a clean, easy-to-understand format. Drug results are clearly separated by database so you can easily distinguish between general information from the core Lexi-Drugs database and more specialized content from Pediatric and Neonatal Lexi-Drugs and others. Within those results are quick links to a few of the most popular sections of the drug monographs: dosing, administration, and adverse reactions. And on the right-hand side of the search results page, you’ll find a convenient list of patient education materials.
On the Lexidrug homepage, you’ll now see a box that lists the newest FDA Drug Approvals as well as one that lists the latest safety alerts. The links there will take you directly to the relevant Lexidrug monograph. It’s never been easier to stay informed!
Lastly, within the drug monographs, there’s a new section called Nursing Practice Points (situated under Patient & Therapy Management). Here, nursing professionals can find the most important information they need to know about administration, monitoring, and patient education.
