TV Series Episode

Note: APA 7th edition treats episodes much like chapters in an edited book.
 
General Format
      In-Text Citation (Paraphrase): 
      (Episode Writer Surname, Year)
 
      In-Text Citation (Quotation):
      (Episode Writer Surname, Year)

 

      References:
      Episode Writer Surname, First Initial. Second Initial. (Writer) & Episode Director Surname, First
            Initial. Second Initial. (Director). (Episode Airdate Year, Month Day). Episode title (Season
            number, Episode number) [TV series episode]. In Executive Producer First Initial. Second
            Initial. Surname (Executive Producer), Title of show. Production Company; Production
            Company.

 

Example
       In-Text Citation (Paraphrase): 
      (Simon et al., 2002)
 
       In-Text Citation (Quotation):
      (Simon et al., 2002)

 

      References:
      Simon, D., Burns, E. (Writers), & Johnson, C. (Director). (2002, June 2). The target (Season 1,

General Format

            Episode title (Episode number) [Audio podcast episode]. In Title of show. Production
            Company. URL of podcast episode

Tip: If you accessed the episode via an app and are unable to locate a URL, omit it.
