Durable links consistently deliver access to an article, book, or journal provided by Himmelfarb Library or GW regardless of if the user if on- or off-campus.
Himmelfarb's Linking to Electronic Resources research guide provides straightforward methods of linking to the journal articles, books and book chapters, and other materials in GW's collections.
Is assistance available in creating durable links?
Yes, Himmelfarb staff can create durable links for you. Send your syllabus to himmelfarb@gwu.edu and we will:
- Check for broken links and update links as needed.
- Ensure that links work from on- and off-campus locations.
- Add new links to materials in Himmelfarb Library's collections.
