Do I Need to Be Signed In to View Full-Text?
You do not need to Sign In to Health Information @ Himmelfarb to get to full-text. Use one of these options:
- Be on campus within GW's IP ranges
- If you are off campus -
- Install GW VPN on your device and be signed in OR
- Login with your UserID when prompted

How Can I Tell If Online Full-Text Is Available and How Do I Get to It?
In the results, items with full-text available display a green Available Online link as shown below:
Clicking the link will frequently take you to the straight to the source. If you're not on campus or on VPN, you will be prompted to login with your GW UserID at this point if the item is not open access. See the Web login page for details
If there is more than one potential supplier you'll go to the full record first where the supplier can be selected under View Online (see below). For journals and articles, the detailed holdings available from a supplier are listed.
Many items will have a Download PDF link available. You can click it to immediately open a PDF for viewing or download.
