What is ArcGIS?

ArcGIS is a software package used for analyzing geospatial data.


Accessing ArcGIS

  • On-site use: ArcGIS Desktop is installed on workstations in the Women's Board Teaching Classroom, Middle Lab, and Himmelfarb B103
  • Remote access: software for ArcGIS Online or ArcGISPro can be downloaded by current GW faculty, staff, and students. Alternatively use the LAI desktop via GW Virtual Computer Lab
