NVivo is a software package used for qualitative data analysis. It includes tools to support the analysis of textual data in a wide array of formats, as well as and audio, video, and image data.

MATLAB® is a programming platform designed specifically for engineers and scientists. MATLAB uses MATLAB language, a matrix-based language allowing the most natural expression of computational mathematics.

• Personal use: Desktop, online and mobile access available to all GW affiliates

SAS is a software package used for statistical data analysis.

Accessing SAS

You can access SAS via the following methods:

• On-site use: workstations in the Women's Board Teaching Classroom, Middle Computer Lab, and Himmelfarb B103 (see Bloedorn Technology Center map for details), or via the Himmelfarb Multimedia Curricular Workstation
• Remote access: use the LAI desktop via GW Virtual Computer Lab
• Individual access: GW faculty members, students, and staff can request an individual SAS license for their personal Windows PC, to be used for academic and research purposes.

• On-site use: all workstations in the Bloedorn Technology Center and Himmelfarb B103 (see Bloedorn Technology Center map for details). The Himmelfarb Multimedia Curricular Workstation additionally includes the AMOS, Regression and Sample Power modules.
• Remote access: use the LAI desktop via GW Virtual Computer Lab
